Bluetooth

<Only for model with Bluetooth>
You can access internet and other Bluetooth devices without connecting cables.
NOTE
- Communication is established through the Bluetooth antenna (A). Do not block the antenna area with your hand or body.
- To use Bluetooth, set [Bluetooth] of [Wireless Configuration] to [Enabled] (default) in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility.
- The transmission rate will be lower when a microwave oven is used near by.
- It may take some time to turn off Bluetooth after switching the wireless switch to off.
- When you uninstall the Bluetooth Driver, turn Bluetooth off.

Using the Bluetooth Function

Before using a Bluetooth, turn the Bluetooth communication on.

Turning on/off the Bluetooth communication

  1. Slide the wireless switch to turn ON / OFF (refer toThe Wireless Switch).

  2. Click [Charm] - - [Change PC Settings] - [Wireless].
    Click [Airplane mode] is ON/OFF, and then click [Bluetooth] is ON/OFF.
NOTE
- Though the power of Bluetooth keeps turning on, the electric wave of Bluetooth can be turned off. Perform the following procedure.
  1. Click on the notification area and click (Bluetooth Manager), then right-click [Disable Bluetooth Function].

To check the Bluetooth communication status

  1. Click [Charm] - - [Change PC Settings] - [Wireless].
  1. Click on the notification area and place the cursor over the Wireless Switch Utility icon ( or ).
    A tooltip appears.

  1. Display [All apps], and then click [Bluetooth User Guide] under "Bluetooth".
    To display [All apps], proceed as follows on the Start screen.
    1. Right-click any empty location on the Start screen.
    2. Click [All apps] on the toolbar.

    Click Start (Start) - [All Programs] - [Bluetooth] - [Bluetooth User Guide].
