Unable to use Modem/NMEA Port by confliction of COM Port Number.

Reinstall Wireless WAN driver being used.
(Execute Pinstall.bat of Wireless WAN driver being used.)
At factory default, Wireless WAN driver is located in the following folder.

NumLock may be automatically turned to ON on BitLocker PIN input screen.

Wireless LAN

Update to Windows 10 Creators Update

Wireless LAN connection to Wi-Fi router (11gn) sometimes gets disconnected unexpectedly.

  1. Go to Advanced of " Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 8260" in device manager, then change "802.11n channel width for 2.4GHz" setting from "Auto" to "20 MHz Only"
  2. Go to BIOS Setup menu, then change "SuperSpeed USB" =>> "Keyboard Base and Port Replicator" to "Disable"

Realtek Sound driver

Update to Windows 10 Creators Update

The volume of quieter sound becomes low.

After updating to Windows10 Creators Update, Loudness Equalization changes from "enabled(=factory default setting)" to "disabled" at Speakers Properties.

Change Loudness Equalization from "disabled" to "enabled(=factory default setting)" at Speakers Properties.

[Modification procedure]

  1. Right-click speaker icon on the task tray and click [Playback devices].
  2. Double-click [Speakers].
  3. Click [Enhancements].
  4. Put checkmark on [Loudness Equalization] and click [OK].
  5. Click [OK] to close [Sound] window.

Cannot click "Uninstall" button for specific applications at "Apps & features".

When upgrade to the Windows 10 Creators Update, The driver (that is work with those applications) is re-installed. Then settings to display those applications on the list has been rewritten.

Please do not uninstall those applications.

HOLD Button and HOLD Key

Update to Windows 10 Creators Update

The toast notification is not displayed when HOLD mode is enabled.


Please add the checkmark to "Show notification when HOLD mode isenabled" to display a notification screen when HOLD mode is enabled.

Wireless LAN

Update to Windows 10 Creators Update

Disabling 802.11a while PC is connected to wireless LAN access point via 802.11a/an/ac, wireless LAN connection status on Windows10 may remain "connected".

It's just a GUI issue. PC is actually disconnected from the wireless LAN access point. If the status doesn't change to "disconnected" after a while, please turn Wi-Fi off once and turn it on again.

Wireless Switch

Update to Windows 10 Creators Update

Airplane mode can be changed to Off on Windows 10 although wireless switch is OFF.

[Modification procedure]

Wireless communication may be ON with the following steps although wireless switch is OFF.

  1. Slide the wireless switch to OFF.
  2. Then Airplane mode is turn to On.
  3. Turn Airplane mode Off on Windows 10.
  4. Then wireless communication may be enabled although the wireless switch is OFF.

*After step 4, to turn wireless communication off, slide the wireless switch to ON once and re-slide it to OFF.

Wireless WAN


Use Wireless WAN Driver

WWAN may be automatically connected when "Let Windows manage this connection" on VAN UI is checked off.

Turn off Cellular when WWAN connection is not used.

Unable to connect to the internet by using the profile whose APN type is LTE.

Set "APN type" to "Internet" on profile creation screen to connect to the internet.
