Windows 7 SP1 Update Support Information

Please make note of the following when updating the Windows® 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
 Windows® 7 Support Information For Japanese consumer PCs
1. Phenomena
  • If installed Windows® 7 SP1 which was released on 2011-Feb-23rd from Microsoft is installed, following phenomenon may occur.
    • Phenomena 1:
      • Listed PC may not appear Windows 7 SP1 by Windows Update.
    • Phenomena 2:
      • The Windows Live Mail 2011 or Windows Live Messenger may not be started on listed PC when updated by using not the update by Windows Update but the download center, etc.

3. Cause
  • This phenomenon may occur in the case of using Intel Video Driver 8.15.10.2104 - 8.15.10.2141. Intel Video Driver for Windows SP1 (now preparing) will fix the problem.
