This page provides evaluation information for upgrading your Panasonic PCs from Windows 10 to "Windows 11 (Version 21H2)".

As for detailed, we will update the Support Web page sequentially.
Please note that contents are subject to change without notice.

About Windows 11

The "Windows 11" program was released by Microsoft.
If you want to upgrade to Windows 11, please check the contents of this page.

Upgrade from "Windows 10 Pre-installed" PC

Introduction

Please install a new OS at customers’ own risk.
Even if a model is eligible for the upgrade, some of the functions or software may not be able to use after the upgrade. Before installing the new OS, please check operating environments of your computers, examine sufficient information.

For Panasonic PCs, the supported OS is below.

  • Preinstalled at the factory.
  • Installed using a recovery function or a recovery disk.

The upgrade information that we will release in the future is not a recommendation or guarantee to upgrade to the new OS, nor does it mean that we will support the new OS.
The upgrade information is to disclose the information, procedures, etc. found in our evaluation for the target model, and we will only provide the information on this Web page.

Please refer to "Applicable Models" below for the models that can be upgraded to Windows 11.

The OS that can be upgraded to Windows 11 is "Windows 10".

Requests before upgrading to Windows 11
When upgrading to Windows 11, please prepare and confirm the reinstallation environment (recovery disk, etc.) for the model you are using before starting the work.

If you have not created a recovery disk, be sure to do so before performing the upgrade.
After upgrading, you may not be able to create a recovery disk or perform hard disk recovery.
For instructions on how to create a recovery disk, please refer to the "User's Manual" that comes with the product.

Precautions

Please be sure to back up your important data beforehand.
We will not compensate for any environmental damage or data loss that may occur to your equipment due to the Windows 11 upgrade.

No.1 Display

Compatibility

After resume from sleep, when opening Edge, the screen display may be severely disturbed.

It can be improved by either Method-1 or Method-2 below.

  • Method-1
    Please install the following module to update your video driver.
    Intel® Video Driver Update Program
  • Method-2
    • Right-click the Edge icon on the taskbar.
    • Right-click "Microsoft Edge" on the displayed menu.
    • Select "Properties".
    • Select "Compatibility" tab.
    • Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" in Compatibility mode.
    • Select "Windows 8" from the pull-down menu.
    • Click "OK" button.

Compatibility

PIN lock cannot be unlocked after resuming from hibernation when using eSIM.

If the symptom occurs, please restart the PC and then enter the PIN again.

No.2 Bluetooth

Compatibility

After sending or receiving a file via Bluetooth, if you put the PC to sleep and then resume it, some applications will quit.

Please restart your PC after sending or receiving a file via Bluetooth.

No.3 Application

Compatibility

In some applications, changing the display resolution or magnification while displaying application window may cause the corruption of the display of the window of the application.

If the symptom occurs, close the application and start it again.

No.4 Panasonic PC settings utility

Compatibility

If you change the display mode or resolution in the Panasonic PC Setting Utility or the menu displayed by pressing the [Fn] key + [F8] key with an external display connected, an error message may be displayed and you may not be able to change them.

Target Models

Please install the following module to update your video driver.
Intel® Video Driver Update Program
This will improve the phenomenon that the display mode cannot be selected from the PC setting utility and [Fn] key + [F8] key menu.
But the phenomenon that the resolution cannot be changed from these tools will continue to occur.
This is restriction at this time.

Compatibility

The OS version shown in Setup tab in PC Information Viewer is Windows 10 even after Windows 11 Upgrade.

It is restriction.
Even after upgrade to Windows 11, the OS version in Setup tab in PC Information Viewer remains to be Windows 10.
To verify the OS version is Windows 11, please confirm the number in parentheses on the same row of the OS version is 10.0.22000.0 or greater.

No.6 Device Power Monitor Utility

Compatibility

"Device Power Monitor Utility" doesn't work.

Please install the following module to update to latest "Device Power Monitor Utility" V1.01L13 M00(1.1.1300.0) or later.
